11505 Hollister CeraPlus 1-1/8" Pre-Cut Convex Skin Barrier with Tape, 2-1/4" Flange, Red, (5 per box)
Extra support where a flat barrier isn't enough.
Hollister CeraPlus Convex Skin Barrier combines the ceramide-infused Remois technology from the CeraPlus line with a built-in convex shape — gentle outward pressure that helps the barrier press into the skin around a flush, retracted, or uneven stoma. This convexity encourages better stoma protrusion into the pouch, reducing the risk of output undermining the seal.
Like all CeraPlus barriers, the ceramide infusion helps reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), supporting healthier peristomal skin during extended wear.

Not sure convex is right for you? Convex barriers work best for flush, retracted, or irregularly shaped stomas. If your stoma protrudes well above skin level, a flat barrier may be more comfortable.
FAQ Section
What does "convex" mean for a skin barrier?
Convex barriers curve outward against the skin, applying gentle pressure that helps push the stoma up and out — useful for flush, retracted, or uneven stomas where a flat barrier might allow leaks.
How do I know if I need convex instead of flat?
If your stoma sits at or below skin level, has creases or scarring nearby, or you experience frequent leaks with a flat barrier, convex is often recommended. Your ostomy nurse can help confirm what's right for your anatomy.
Is this pre-cut or cut-to-fit?
This is pre-cut to a 1-1/8" opening. If you need a custom size, Hollister CeraPlus also offers cut-to-fit convex options.
What's the flange size, and why does it matter?
2-1/4" — this must match the flange size of your Hollister New Image pouch for a secure connection.
Does the convex shape make it less comfortable to wear?
Most users adjust quickly; the gentle pressure is designed to improve seal and reduce leaks rather than cause discomfort. If you experience persistent discomfort, consult your ostomy care provider about fit or an alternative depth of convexity.
What pouches is this compatible with?
Hollister New Image pouches, including drainable, high output, closed, and urostomy styles.
How many are in a box?
5 per box.
