Hollister's floating flange provides flexibility and security to you!  It helps to relieve pressure from sensitive areas around your stoma with it's raised design.  This allows you to properly grasp the ostomy bag while securing it without pressing down on the abdomen (which may be uncomfortable).  This same design allows you to confirm that the skin barrier and ostomy pouch are properly fitted together so there are no unexpected mishaps.
