Hollister's New Image CeraPlus Flat Extended Wear Skin Barrier is a pre-cut, two-piece ostomy barrier infused with ceramide — a lipid naturally found in healthy skin — to help protect and condition the peristomal (around-the-stoma) skin with each wear. This version comes without a tape border, making it a good fit for users who don't need extra adhesive support at the edges, or who find tape borders irritating on sensitive skin.

This barrier is pre-sized with a 1" (25mm) opening, designed for stomas measuring approximately 22mm to 25mm in diameter, and pairs with a 1-3/4" (44mm) flange for connecting to your two-piece pouching system. Being an "extended wear" barrier, it's formulated to hold up reliably over a longer wear time than standard barriers, which is especially helpful for active output stomas or humid climates.

Choosing the right opening size: Your stoma should be measured regularly, especially in the weeks after surgery when swelling changes, since a poor opening fit is one of the most common causes of leakage and skin irritation.
