ConvaTec Esenta® strips ref# 423826 are a non-sterile hydrocolloid strip with a top layer of water resistant and breathable polyurethane.  ease® strips contain pectin, gelatin, sodium CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) and polyisobutylene. ease® strips are latex free. Use ease® strips as an ostomy accessory while at the beach, while swimming, and in the shower with confidence! Strips are thin measuring less than half a millimeter thick and are easy to apply with its natural curve that can apply to any ostomy system.

 ease® Strips Application Tips

1. Start by cleaning the skin where you intend to place the ease® Ostomy Strips. Warming the strip in your hands will improve adhesion.

2. ease® strips should overlap barrier edges by half of an inch. Remove half of the backing  and apply to skin overlapping the barrier edge. Next remove the last half of the backing paper and smooth.

3. Support skin with your hand while using other hand to slowly remove the strip by peeling horizontally. ConvaTec suggests using an adhesive remover if needed.
