No. Using an adhesive remover is optional. Only use this product or a wipe version to remove adhesive residue from your skin.

Will it sting my skin?

The formula is silicone based which means it is sting free. It should make removing adhesive residue easy and pain free.

Should I wash it off my skin when I use the adhesive remover?

It evaporates fast and leaves no residue. You can apply another barrier without any cleaning. If you do wash your skin, confirm that the skin around your stoma is free of any residue from soap and dry.

    I use this to remove my diabetes devices (insulin pump infusion sets & Dexcom CGM). I have to use SkinTac to keep them on my body and SkinTac holds really well. That means I need something to remove them and I recently found this Adapt Medical Adhesive Remover. THis stuff is amazing! The spray makes it easy to use and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. It also doesn't spread the adhesive over a larger area like everything else I've tried. I spray, wait a minute, then peel off the set/sensor.

    Adhesive remover is critical for colostomies. However, he said remover is very expensive for just a little bit. I'm glad that Hollister provides almost twice as much as others, and it's good stuff!
