I have had an appliance for more than 20 yrs and have always had issues with it "Popping" off within an hour or so of changing. Sometimes had to change the appliance 3 times to finally get one that would stay on. This belt solves all those problems. I will probably order a second to have as a spare and for the future. It is very comfortable to wear. It is a bit tight so remember if your waist size is a 35 and it says you need medium. I would recommend the large instead.

I never wanted one of those narrow ostomy belts but when I found this wide one I took a shot! Can't believe how flat it makes my pouch area. LOVE it !!!

I bought the product to feel more secure when hiking. Some quite strenuous hikes. Absolutely feel more secure. The band is extremely comfortable & I did not notice it at all under my clothes & moving. I gave it 4 stars because of ring that goes under bag. When sitting the top digs into my stomach. I bent to tie my hiking boot on the trail and it dug deep into my stomach. Very painful. So the ring scares me.

Tried 1 inch belts, they were not comfortable. This belt is very comfortable. At times I forget I have it on. I have added lots of wear time on my ostomy wafers because of this belt.

I have been using this belt for about 3 months. Before I had a simple 1" belt, which was twisted and was uncomfortable. I believe that the Nu Hope 2" belt has an optimal size fitting to normal man body. The ring is a very good applience too, bcs it fits to the whole pouch ring perfectly and applies an even pressure on the wafer's ring. I highly recommend this product.
