After having an ileostomy for 25 years with numerouse leaks, I am glad this product finally came on the market. These proved invaluable while traveling to Switzerland to visit with my wife's brothers and sisters. I did not want an issue of a leak while sleeping in their beds. I even took a small mattress pad, but it was never needed. My worries about traveling throughout the country were greatly eased because of the protection offered by the Rings. It takes a little practice to apply the rings because the material is very thin. But once you get the hang of it, they go on quite easy. The Sure Seal Ring really helps ostomy patients to swim and take shower, even with a hot or salt water, I tried both and stay very satisfied. I recommend to apply the seal ring AFTER the wafer and the pouch are in place. You can easily find a video in YouTube.
