MediHoney® dressings incorporate a unique honey sourced from the nectar of the Leptospermum plant. Scientifically validated through clinical trials and supported by clinical evidence, this specialized honey exhibits distinctive properties effective in managing wounds and burns.1-3

In a randomized controlled trial, wounds treated with MediHoney dressings demonstrated a significantly faster mean healing time compared to those treated with conventional dressings.4

Distinguished from regular honey, MediHoney adheres to stringent systems and standards, including independent monitoring and auditing, ensuring quality and batch-to-batch consistency. Additionally, it undergoes ultra-filtration and sterilization through gamma irradiation, eliminating bacterial spores without compromising product efficacy.3 Sourced traceably, MediHoney is devoid of pesticides and antibiotics.3
