How Do You Apply Stomahesive Paste?

1. Clean and dry the skin around the stoma.
2. Apply a thin bead of paste around the opening of the skin barrier.
3. Allow the paste to sit briefly if desired.
4. Apply the pouching system over the paste.
5. Hold the barrier in place for several seconds to improve adhesion.

Important: Stomahesive Paste is not a glue or adhesive. It works as a filler to help create a better seal.

Stomahesive Paste is designed to be used with ostomy skin barriers / wafers in the protection of the skin around the stoma. Stomahesive Paste is not a bonding cement, glue or adhesive. It is used as a filler or "caulking" agent to increase skin barrier wear time by providing a flat pouching surface and helping to prevent leakage under the skin barrier.
